This type of insurance offers coverage for the physical home, as well as all the personal property inside. Homeowners also includes liability insurance, which is protection in case someone is injured on the property and sues you for damages.

Renters Insurance
Classified under Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance covers all your personal property in your apartment from fire, water damage, and theft. We offer great rates on renters insurance for your child away at college or for your apartment. Also included is personal liability in the event someone gets harmed in your apartment.

 Illinois and Indiana require that all drivers carry automobile insurance to protect themselves and other drivers on the road. The two different options when it comes to automobile insurance are:

Liability Only Insurance
This type of insurance covers only the OTHER driver that is involved in a collision. There is no physical damage coverage on the automobile. This insurance is required by law, and because there is no physical damage coverage, it is less expensive than full-coverage.

Full-Coverage Insurance
This insurance covers both liability AND physical damage to your own automobile. This means that you are covered if you hit someone because of the liability coverage, but damage to your car is also covered. There are deductibles that apply to full coverage, normally $250, $500, $1000, or $2,500.   

 This is an added layer of liability insurance coverage. It is used if the liability limits on either your home or auto are exhausted. Normal limits for umbrella coverage are $1 million, $2 million, and $5 million.
